US bank security lapse: Customer data shared with AI

In an 8-K filing to the SEC, the bank mentioned sensitive non-public information at risk. Consequently, this disclosure was required because of the sensitive nature and volume of exposed data.
It is not clear exactly what happened during the US bank security incident. However, it appears an employee may have uploaded customer information to an AI chatbot, exposing it to outsiders.
