ACTI and AKSIK: A Partnership for a Secure and Innovative Digital Albania

In an important step for Albania’s digital future, the Albanian Council for Technology and Innovation (ACTI) and the National Authority for Classified Information Security (AKSIK) have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

The agreement was signed by Altin Jani, representing AKSIK, and Ermal Beqiri, Chair of the ACTI Board, marking a new chapter of collaboration between public institutions and Albania’s technology and innovation sector.

This memorandum focuses on building a secure, innovative, and sustainable digital environment by combining institutional expertise with the vision and energy of the technology community. Through this partnership, ACTI and AKSIK aim to:

  • Raise public awareness about the importance of information security and cybersecurity as a foundation of trust for citizens and businesses.
  • Develop professional training and certification programs that empower young people and professionals with international standards and skills.
  • Create collaboration spaces where innovation becomes a driver of economic and social development.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Ermal Beqiri highlighted:

“This cooperation is a concrete step toward strengthening cybersecurity in Albania. The more we invest in this field, the more protected we become, and the more trust we build as a country, opening new horizons for digital development.”

With this agreement, another cornerstone is added to the shared vision of an Albania where cybersecurity and technological creativity move forward together. It strengthens not only the national digital market, but also Albania’s credibility and presence on the international digital stage.
