Cybersecurity Training for Students in Albania

In collaboration with the National Authority for Cyber Security (NCSA), the Polytechnic University of Tirana, and the international organization FIRST, the Albanian Council for Technology and Innovation (ACTI), through its Education and Development Committee and Cybersecurity Committee, organized a comprehensive event aimed at connecting young people with the challenges and demands of the global cybersecurity market.

The event brought together:

  • Institutional representatives
  • Academia and students preparing to become future cybersecurity professionals
  • Businesses and organizations from both national and international levels

Using the SimSpace platform, students engaged in high-level practical training, facing real-world cyberattack scenarios and gaining a unique, hands-on experience.

At the end of the event:

  • All participants were awarded certificates of participation
  • The top three students received motivational awards, proudly sponsored by ACTI, in recognition of their talent and dedication

Ermal Beqiri, Chairman of ACTI’s Council, often says that “Young people are the most important investment we can make for Albania’s digital security. We will continue building bridges that connect them to the real world of technology and innovation.”

This activity marks an important step toward a safer digital future for Albania, by equipping the next generation with practical skills and a global vision.
