ACTI General Assembly Meeting | Focus on Strategic Partnerships and the Digital Future

The General Assembly Meeting of the Albanian Council for Technology and Innovation (ACTI) took place with the participation of the majority of its member companies, the Governing Board, and key actors from Albania’s technology ecosystem. Under the leadership of the Chairman, Mr. Ermal Beqiri, the meeting was characterized by an energetic and constructive atmosphere, focusing on the priorities and vision for the second half of the year.

In the first session, we reflected on our collective journey and reaffirmed ACTI’s strategic objectives. Priorities for the next six months were also set, aiming to increase the impact of our platform and support members in the challenges and opportunities offered by the dynamic technology and innovation market.

The second part of the meeting featured a special discussion on strategic partnerships. We were pleased to welcome Mrs. Elira Kokona, Executive Director of the Albanian Investment Corporation (AIC), and Mrs. Florensa Haxhi, Co-director of the Durana Tech Park project. This new project aims to become a reference hub for startups, companies, and innovative projects at the regional level.

Discussions focused on concrete ways to involve ACTI members in the Durana Tech Park ecosystem, including registration procedures, collaboration opportunities, and joint project development models. This exchange of ideas and visions was seen as an important step toward creating stronger bridges between the private sector and public institutions leading the country’s digital transformation.

The meeting concluded with a clear message from ACTI’s Chairman, Ermal Beqiri: “ACTI will continue to be the connecting bridge between the innovation community and the country’s development policies. This is our commitment to build together the digital future of Albania.”
