From Tirana to Sardinia | How ACTI Builds a Culture of Collaboration

In its journey to build a strong technology and innovation ecosystem in Albania, the Albanian Council for Technology and Innovation (ACTI) knows that collaboration is not only built through projects and meeting rooms. It also arises in spaces where professionals take time for reflection, build new connections, and strengthen trust.
This was exactly what ACTI’s retreat in Costa Smeralda, Sardinia, brought a unique moment to slow down, share visions, and lay the foundations for the historic ACT NOW 2025 event in Tirana.
Open discussions, reflection sessions, and the team’s energy brought new clarity on how to address the challenges of technology and innovation in Albania. Beyond the official agenda, participants shared bold ideas, created new synergies, and thought beyond the traditional boundaries of the industry.
As Ermal Beqiri, Chairman of ACTI, often says: “An organization is strengthened not only by the projects it builds but also by the moments when its members pause to reflect and look further ahead. Retreats like this are the oxygen that helps us combine strategic vision with the strength of collaboration.”
This journey was not just a break from the routine but an investment in leadership culture, team building, and networking, further strengthening the community ACTI is building every day.
