ACTI Joins the National Cybersecurity Marathon 2025 | New Opportunities for Students

The Albanian Council for Technology and Innovation (ACTI) has officially become a partner of the National Cybersecurity Marathon 2025, an important initiative that brings together education, innovation, and industry to strengthen Albania’s cybersecurity ecosystem.

Through this partnership, ACTI goes beyond supporting the development of young talent. We are creating real bridges between students and the job market. ACTI member companies will be actively involved throughout all phases of the marathon, closely following the most promising participants and connecting them with real opportunities for internships and employment in the private sector.

This collaboration represents a new model of interaction, where three key pillars education, innovation, and industry come together to create an environment that supports sustainable growth. Students and young professionals will have the chance to test their skills through real-world cybersecurity challenges, gaining practical experience and visibility that prepares them for the demands of the future.

Speaking about the initiative, Ermal Beqiri, Chair of the ACTI Council, said:

“This marathon is not just a competition, it is a gateway to the future. We want every student to feel there is a clear path from the classroom to the industry, and from theory to practice. This is our most important investment: building a new generation of professionals who will protect and develop Albania’s digital future.”

This year’s marathon is expected to become a strong platform for identifying young talent while also raising awareness about the critical role of cybersecurity in the digital era. ACTI’s participation in this initiative is a direct investment in Albania’s digital future and a clear sign of our ongoing commitment to building a strong and competitive technology ecosystem.

Universities and vocational schools across the country are invited to register their teams by July 25, 2025, giving students a unique opportunity to showcase their potential in front of industry leaders.
