ACTI Supports School–Industry Collaboration at Hermann Gmeiner

A roundtable discussion was held at Hermann Gmeiner School, focused on strengthening the cooperation between the education system and the business sector. The event brought together representatives from educational institutions, labor market actors, and organizations involved in development and innovation.

At the heart of the discussion there was the need to build a strong and sustainable bridge between theoretical knowledge and practical industry experience, as a way to create more real opportunities for young people in the job market.

“These are the moments that show how much we can achieve when education and industry work together for a common goal. Young people don’t just need knowledge. They need opportunities that bring them closer to the professional world. And we have the responsibility to create those opportunities,” said Xhenila Tamizi, Chair of ACTI’s Education and Development Committee.

The event also featured project presentations by the students themselves, filled with passion, courage, and creativity. These initiatives clearly reflected the potential of Albanian youth when given the space to think differently.

This is exactly why ACTI strongly supports such collaborations. As Ermal Beqiri, Chairman of ACTI’s Council, often says that “Only through concrete cooperation with educational institutions can we build a sustainable future for our digital ecosystem.”

Events like this highlight the importance of long-term investment in future-oriented education, where fresh ideas drive progress and schools become not just places of learning, but starting points for change.
